Introduction
"Books, Authors and Famous Personalities" is one of the highest-yield areas in the General Knowledge paper of BCS, Bank, and IT-officer examinations. A large share of GK marks comes from simple recall questions such as "Who wrote Gitanjali?", "Who is the National Poet of Bangladesh?", "'Sultana's Dream' is written by whom?", or "Who is called the Father of Modern Chemistry?". These carry full marks with no calculation and no reasoning — but only if you have memorised the exact book–author and person–identity pairings. This lesson organises the material the way examiners actually test it: by book → author, by author → epithet/pen name, by person → identity (sobriquet), and by Nobel/award linkage. Master the tables here and you can answer almost any question in this area in seconds.
