A computer is an electronic device that accepts data (input), processes it according to a stored set of instructions (a program), and produces information (output). For BCS, Bank and IT-officer examinations, "Computer History and Pioneers" is one of the most reliably repeated topics. Questions are almost always factual and recall-based: Who is called the Father of the Computer? Which was the first electronic computer? What device belongs to which generation? Who wrote the first program? When and where was Bangladesh's first computer installed?
